The Client referred to CPS Attorneys due to necessity to protect his rights in a case of violation of customs rules.

The Client entered the territory of Ukraine by car with European registration. Subsequently, the deputy chief of Odessa Customs SFS issued a decision on bringing the Client to administrative responsibility under Art. 485 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

CPS Attorneys specialists appealed against the decision to the Malinovsky District Court of Odessa. As a result of the consideration of the case, the court declared as illegal the decision of the deputy chief of the customs authority on bringing the owner of the vehicle with European registration to liability under Art. 485 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The appeal court confirmed the illegality of the customs decision.
