An international carrier company referred to CPS Attorneys due to arrest of its containers at one of the warehouses in Odessa region. The arrest was imposed by the investigative judge of the district court of Kiev, both on the transported cargo and on the containers.

The arrest was initiated by the investigator in the framework of suspecting the transportedcargo owner in committing a crime according Articles 205 (fake business activity) and 212 (tax and duties evasion) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

CPS Attorneys lawyerspromptly appealed against the arrest of containers and proved the groundlessness of the violation of the carrier company’s rights, thereafter the arrest of containers was canceled by the investigative judge.
